I joined the Logan Biggest Looser Group on Jan 24, 2011 and weighed in at 241.6

At the end of the class on April 24 2011, I weighed in a 207.6!

I feel great and I am on my way to reach 199! Here are some before and after shots!

We had another great week. We had two more baptisms that we weren´t even planning on having. This huge fat guy that is probably the coolest guy in the world named Oscar. His kids were baptised a couple weeks before i got here and we have been working a lot with him but never wanted to put a set date. Then on wednesday we went to his house after not seeing him for like 4 days or so and he´s like Elder´s! Im getting baptised. What do i have to do? I asked him when and he said Saturday and started laughing because of our expression. So we had a couple more lessons we had to teach him and he was ready. On friday morning we were going all over town desperately trying to find a shirt that would fit him and we finnally did. XXL when we gave it to him he went to his room to try it on and came out of his room with it unbuttoned and started slapping his stomach. You know when you throw a huge rock in a pond from way up high? Ya.......very similar. He started laughing again and said a bad word and that he looks pregnant. He used to say a TON of swear words but now hardly any at all. We´re still workin on that part with him hahaha. oh man i love that guy. The other that we baptised is the girl that was in the bycicle accident and her dad died and her family blames her. She got baptised too but on Sunday she showed up way late to the sac meeting and didnt get confirmed..............................................................so next week i guess.

This week we have two more baptisms so we will finish this month and transfer with 5 baptisms. We are both way happy. We already have 4 more people that will be baptised next month too! I love this sector so much. We keep finding people that want to be baptised.
This past week we did this service project for a sister in the ward and there was this old guy that was in charge of the construction and...........................does not know how to do it. I pledge that i will never hirer(cant spell) a chilean construction guy because there are all horrible. But there nice people! it was a fun service project i just feel way bad for the sister.

Well, Katie, Kevin, mom and dad had a great time in Mexico! Kevin loved the marcado (the market), Katie crossed three things off her "bucket list" (parasailing, going to Mexico, getting a massage, pedicure, and manicure all at the same time). Mom liked shopping on the beach, the warm waves of the ocean (body surfing), and coming home safe! Dad liked the ocean, kicking back at the pool, the waterfalls, watching his family have such a good time and being with family and friends! Next trip to Mazatlan...2015!!! with all the family!

Great family time!

While Joan was with the Bundy's at the Bundy reunion, Mike was with the Elder's in California meeting Gaven Wyatt Elder for the first time! Adam blessed his newborn baby with four generations in the circle! We had lots of fun, sun, and food! Sometimes Joan and Mike divide and conquer! It was fun for both of us to be with our family!

Austin received his mission call to serve in the Chile Concepción South Mission! He leaves November 18th!!! He is so excited...as is our family! It was so wonderful to have all our family and friends on the conference line to hear Austin open up his letter and read to us where he will be serving!

A Wonderful Summer with Family!

We had a great time this summer with family! We even had a cool experience (with permission from Ashlee's mission President) to visit Ashlee and give her a blessing. We had over 40 people at Lake Chelan WA, for an Elder Reunion, plus Joan and the kids went to the Bundy Reunion, plus Grandpa Emer's funeral, and DisneyLand! Being with family and extended family is wonderful!

Our first day, we had a great dinner with Beneficial Life. It was a sad but happy occasion since the company will cease to do market life insurance in a few months and continue only as a service company. We will have a great week as a little family!

June 2, 2009....the big Graduation night for Austin! Over 800 seniors graduated Mountain Crest High School tonight. Austin was excited, happy to be with family and friends! Now, he is off to California for his Senior Trip and then off to Houston to work for the summer!!! Way to go Austin!!! We love you!

We spent May 16th weekend down in Arizona attending Charlies graduation, Mason's blessing, and Analee's birthday. We had Uncle Dave and Aunt Michele there with us also. Wow, what a great time! We swam, we ate, we played, and we had ton's of fun! We got to see the Goodman family at Tyler's wedding reception, and got to play with our Arizona grandkids! We love all our family whereever they are!

April 29th was a great day! Mason Culler was born at 1pm in Gilbert Arizona to Analee and Charlie. Analee and Mason are doing great! He was 8lbs 9oz 21 inches long...lots of hair. Then he dropped in weight to 7lbs 15oz. The Culler's brought Mason home on May 1st! Brother Nate is excited and wondering how his new little brother is going to like all is toys. Mike and Joan get to go and see baby Mason on May 15th when he is blessed! He joins the 10 other grandchildren and we are so excited to have Mason in our family!!!

Welcome to the family Dasha! All the Bundy kids and some of the Elder kids joined in with celebrating Chris and Dasha's wedding on April 11th. It was a beautiful reception in Logan with family and friends! Lots of good food and a beautiful bride. We wish Dasha's parents could have come, but their country would not grant a visa for them to come over to attend the reception. We welcome Dasha into the family and know these two will be very happy together!

Austin and I were able to meet Adam at General Conference! Adam came to a friends wedding and afterwards met us for an afternoon of fun! We watched the 2nd session in the Tabernacle...then walked over to the Marriott and had dinner with Chris. We said good-bye to Adam as he had to leave and go to the airport and then Austin and I went to Priesthood Session inside the North Visitors Center on Temple Square...seating in the soft chairs!

We enjoyed General Conference and feel honored to be able to hear the President Monson speak from his heart. We especially enjoyed the last talk of the Sunday afternoon Session. It looked like he put down his papers and just spoke to us to please live the gospel and keep the commandments. It was nice to spend the weekend with family and kick back and enjoy General Conference!

We had a wonderful time visiting family during our Christmas vacation! Melinda and Matt visited with us prior to Christmas. Then on Christmas we started out at Uncle Steves...had a great time there. Ashlee called and we had a nice 45 minute visit. Singing, push ups, Guitar Hero, eating, and visited with extended family which included Grandma and Grandpa Elder. Then went to Krystal and Daniels and had Christmas with them, Ellie and the Ryan Family. Then off to sunny California! Adam and Tracy welcomed us with open arms, had a lot of fun things planned, including bike rides, walks, Balboa ferry ride, ferris wheel, pizza, home cooked meal on Sunday, then Christmas with them and Tracy's family. It was great attending church with Adam and Tracy and being present in Adam's Sunday School Class as he taught the gospel so very well.

Then off to Arizona where we found 72 degree weather. Spent the first night at Aaron and Laura's with little Jack! Had FHE with Grandma Goodman where she gave us some history of the Goodman family. Then the next night CHRISTMAS AGAIN!!! Spent New Years eve with Analee, Charlie, and Nate...then New Year's day we followed a long ago tradition and went up to Ussury Pass and went on a nice hike...In and OUT, kicked back, and then drove home Jan 2nd back to the SNOW!!!! We loved being with our kids and appreciate all that you do and how well you are living your lives!

December 25th, 2008, was the first Christmas where we didn't have any of the extended family with us Christmas Morning! We enjoyed Christmas eve with Russ and his family and Chris and Dasha. We look forward to now getting in the car and driving to Rainy's, Krystal's, Adam's, Aaron's, and then Analee's. We will report more on the way or when we get back. Tracy is going to give Dad a lesson on creating a blog! We get to see ALL the grandkids this Christmas season!!!

Sister Elder is now back in Oak Harbor! That was her first area and she loved it. Mike served in the same stake that Sister Elder is serving in as the Bishop of the Mount Vernon 2nd Ward when Ashlee was born! It's interesting that she is serving where she was born! Unfinished business...perhaps!!??!! Here she is with missionary Grandparents Elder Elder and Sister Elder at a tri mission conference!
